I’ve been following Phusion Passenger (a.k.a. mod_rails) for a few months, but haven’t done much besides install it on a test system (and fail to install it on another).  Because I haven’t heard much about it, I’ve been cautious about adopting it myself.  I don’t know much about the company, and haven’t seen much discussion except a few disparaging remarks about “Ruby Enterprise”.

But I saw this today on loudthinking, and while reassuring, I’ll still wait to see how it goes.  At least it’s getting some press now, so the community might be able to build up some detailted feedback.

I’ve speculated idly (to myself) if this wasn’t an answer to the rant about Rails an Dreamhost — and wondered if maybe this was sponsored by them.
